Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift


3rd Shift Supervisor – Springdale, AR

$45k – 55k (DOE)

11:30PM – 7:30AM


Job Duties

·         Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Makes employment decisions.

·         Resolve employee issues through problem resolution, corrective action and if necessary, disciplinary action.

·         Tracking training of employees and improving the workforce training base

·         Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to

·         continuously improve in all areas.

·         Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress

·         reports to manager.

·         Provide leadership through a planning cycle.

·         Manage Quality Corrective Actions.

·         Implement 5S where necessary and improve 5S in areas of responsibility

·         Perform accident investigations.

·         Maintain proper inventory levels.

·         Scheduling of work centers to ensure on-time delivery to customers

·         Manage department priorities.

·         Track absenteeism and timekeeping (including approving time cards).

·         Makes certain all production equipment is safe and operating properly. Reports any equipment issues to

Required Education & Experience

·         3-5 years of experience in a production environment.

·         Preferred

·         5-8 years of experience in a production environment.

·         Previous quality management experience.

·         Previous experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts

·         Computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point along with the American

·         Tubing ERP system.

Manufacturing Project Engineer


Direct Hire

Salary: $60 – 80K (+) DOE

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.
  • Performs research, design, and development of manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, and production equipment.
  • Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
  • Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised products, including establishing goals and evaluating results.
  • Designs, develops, tests or sources, and cost-justifies various tools, machinery, and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
  • Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency improvement.
  • Represents manufacturing on cross-functional teams.
  • Creates and maintains documentation for manufacturing and shipping operations, i.e. work instructions, operating procedures, parts specifications.

 Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
  • Technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods including flow, layout, assembly, and production equipment.
  • Experience with Safety program implementation and EPA and OSHA compliance preferred.
  • Able to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Quality orientation and attention to detail.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team orientation.
  • Computer assisted design proficiency.

Mechanical Designer


Direct Hire


The Mechanical Designer reports to a Senior Mechanical Engineer and provides technical design support to assist with the development of products, fixtures, tooling, and special machinery that will result in increasing productivity, improving reliability or enhancing product quality.  The Mechanical Designer is responsible for generating solid models for manufacturing tooling and fixtures along with detailed dimensioned drawings.  The Mechanical Designer creates mechanical drawings to support product development by conferring with engineers and reviewing sketches, descriptions, and specifications.  The Mechanical Designer also supervises the progress of new product prototypes and testing.


Qualifications of the Position Include:

•  5-10 years of relevant design experience required. 

•  Prior tool and die design experience required. 

•  Proficient in solid modeling with experience using Inventor.

•  Detailed knowledge of manufacturing processes such as die casting, machine & fabricated parts, and injection molding.

•   A two or four year technical degree is preferred.

•  Design experience from concept to completion preferred.
